Life here has been busy! I started as a full-time Personal Chef in the end of May, and have been navigating balance, self-care, while also learning lots about The Medical Medium!
This topic of SARK, Sakara, + S* Down South has been on my heart for a while!
Here's why:
1) SARK: My Birthday was in June! And the day before, the author SARK's 25th edition of Succulent Wild Woman came out.
SARK has been one of my greatest inspirations since high school (the 90's ;)) when I read Inspiration Sandwich. After a significant life change in 2017, I joined her group coaching program, and was more deeply mentored by her.
SARK, I love you + am eternally grateful!

3) S* Down South: I'm SUPER excited to be a Presenter at the 2022 S* Down South Conference in ATL!
I just finished facilitating an Aphrodesiac Chocolate + Fruit Party, and am co-facilitating a Discussion Circle on Interracial Dating, Love, + Relationships in the South.
My co-facilitator happens to be my new Beloved, and that's exciting too. ;)
SDS is a conference that models centering Black voices, queer voices, and inclusivity. This conference and Afropunk are truly inspiring to me in these ways. The world needs more, much more, like this. #Afrofuturism This white woman is here for it. ;)
