Happy June! Wow, I have been on a Traveling Journey the past few weeks! First, playing + working @ Shakti Fest in Joshua Tree, CA (I helped an amazing raw chocolate company, Medicinal Foods -- I love how we're all friends! ;)) Then a quick 5-day trip to Atlanta, my Heart-Home, + then I had my first Healing Booth ever at Lightning in a Bottle Festival in Bradley, CA!
First, I want to share my excitement! I had a paid speaking gig in Atlanta at the amazing PeachDish (a cool local-foods box delivery startup). I got to talk about my food story, healing an eating disorder, + Morning Rituals for success on the job (and in life!). It was super fun! Thank you Judith Winfrey for hosting me! ;)
Also, I had a beautiful photo shoot at one of my favorite urban intentional communities/ farms with the amazing Ana Ducasse, + I can't WAIT to show you the pics!
Of course, I went on vegan mac+cheese tour of Atlanta as well (would you expect any less? ;)) which had me at Healthful Essence, Soul Vegetarian + Sevananda, to name a few of my vegan food faves (+ I'm not even 100% vegan, but I love it!)
And the East Atlanta Village Farmers' Market, where all my hippie/ activist friends have become Farmers, + I get to eat the most magical kale I have ever seen in my life (thank you Isia + Chris)! Plus have heart-to-hearts.... ahh... Atlanta, I can never shake you! ;)
Then, BAM! It was on to Lightning in a Bottle! Here is my cool booth flyer! ;)
Wow, those prices are pretty phenomenal! And of course it was synchronicity when I was bumped to First Class on the way back to LA + saw the Doreen Virtue cards I would be using, at the airport!!
At Lightning in a Bottle, life was SOOO creative. AND... there were a lot of attendees who weren't quite on the "conscious awareness" program yet. At the Healing Sanctuary where I worked, a ceremonial rug was stolen from a First Nation/ Native American healer. :/

It devastated me + I couldn't shake my disappointment in humanity, all day. After all, we were on sacred Native American land. Well, lo and behold, I found the rug!!! Out of 30,000 people at the festival. It felt like I was guided by Spirit, + it totally made my week! I think it made his day too. ;)
Whew! I'm glad to be home with flush toilets + a real bed. What an adventure!!! I continued my vegan mac+cheese tour with Southern Fried Vegan at the festival (very important Research + Development, you know! ;)))

So many people were experiencing FOMO (fear of missing out) at the festival, that I decided to open the Healing Sanctuary Virtually this week + next!
