I've been doing this every morning....

Hey Beautiful!  Can you believe it's March already? 

I've been busy leading The Artist's Way for a group of Goddesses, + going on Artist's Date Adventures myself!  ;)

I'm headed to Natural Products Expo West this weekend + super excited about it.  (It's like Disneyland for Health Food Retailers ;)). 

Life can get full + overwhelming, especially when you have big dreams + visions. 

So I wanted to share a new Morning Ritual I've been doing, as an Entrepreneur + Business Owner (+ Person!) that's totally been helping me.

(The idea comes from Nisha Moodley.)

Each morning (after Meditating + doing my Morning Pages) I get out a small scrap piece of paper + write 3 Categories on it:

1) Vision
2) Have To
3) Proud Of

Each section gets its own space on the page, + the page itself is no more than 4-5 inches square.  So, everything is neat, tight, + to the point.

Under Vision, I write my Grand Vision for the World.  What gets me up in the morning, + what motivates me to do my work in the world.  Also, I use this section to write my Core Desired Feelings, a la Danielle LaPorte, The Desire Map.  Just a few words, jotted down.

Next, under Have To, I write the things I have to do that day.  Most of them are business action steps, appointments, + sometimes things like running errands.  Every once in a while, "Rest" finds itself on there as a "Have to."  ;)

The Have To section looks just like a concise, mini + non-overwhelming, to-do list.  I check in with my Higher Self + make sure all activities for the day are aligned with what feels right.  I make sure I'm not over-doing it or giving myself too much on my plate. 

Then, for Proud Of, I write a mini list of those things I'd be proud of doing today.  Sometimes it's to call my mom, or a friend, or reach out to someone.  Many times it's self-care, like go to yoga, or get a massage.  When Nisha explained this section, she shared that her "Proud Of" list allows her to feel balanced in her life.  + I love it!

I started this technique at the end of 2014.  And it has me feeling a lot more Simplified, Peaceful, Harmonious, + Happy.
