I'm writing this as much for me as for you....
What is your relationship to fear?
For so long, I let fear stop me.
Fear was what I like to call a "red light."
When I went through Life Coaching School, I changed my relationship to fear: it became a "green light."
Fear is where the juice is. It's where the Aliveness is.
If we stay inside of our Comfort Zone, day in + day out, we never grow.
And the opposite of growth can be depression, illness, stuckness, + low self-esteem.
For a while, I had a morning practice where I would choose something scary to do each day, + 9 times out of 10, I would do it. A phone call, an email, or something bigger, like moving from Atlanta to California....
I'm sending this to you today because it is the New Moon Solar Eclipse (are you into Astrology? ;)), a time for Transformation.
We are in October, the month of Halloween, which is all about the "underworld," or as I like to interpret it, our own deep-seated fears, hopes, dreams, our connection to Inner Guidance, etc.
That which is beneath the surface.
My biggest fear a few years ago, was making the leap from my cozy, Love-filled, close-knit community in Atlanta, + venturing into the unknown. Moving to California, which felt expansive, big, + exciting. (although totally terrifying too!)
It's important that when we choose something scary to do, that this step/ or action feels Expansive.
That we tune in to that helpful voice within + know it feels Juicy, Yummy, + Right.
After I made my big move, I thought my work was done.
Now that I had taken my "big scary" step, everything would be easy from here.
+ This was not the case.
I found that I was called to keep doing scary things, each day, each month, each year.
And (if I want to grow) it continues on + on.
I recently received a sweet testimonial from one of my Life Coaching clients. She said:
"Debra's coaching was both grounding + transformational.
I admired her work for years + finally decided to engage her as a coach, when I realized I was in an extremely toxic + abusive work relationship that I needed to extricate myself from.
I wanted not just to improve my work, but also to learn the lessons I needed to learn so that I didn't find myself in the same situation again.
Having Debra to listen to me + help me process through my thoughts + emotions was extremely helpful. Her insights + suggestions helped push me to where I wanted to be personally + professionally.
Within two months of engaging Debra, I had a new + better job, making more money, with more freedom.
She really helped me get to the root of some deep problems + held a safe space for me to confront some very scary fears."
Is there something scary (but transformational + good) that it is time for you to do?
Is there a baby step you can take?
Or is it just time to take the Leap?
I'm offering 30-minute Life Coaching Breakthrough Sessions, now through October 31st.
I have 12 spaces available, + they are $65/ each (or 1 hour for $125). First come, first serve.

When I made my big leap, I had plenty of support. As I Coach others now, I still enroll Coaches for myself, for my own growth. And I wouldn't be where I am today without this support.
Is it time to support yourself with a Coach/ Breakthrough Session?
I am here if you need to talk it out, + come up with an Action Plan.
Much Love + Seeing You for Who You Really Are,
